We had a wonderful day at London Craft Week hosting three In Conversation talks with Kit Kemp at The Soho Hotel. Our guests were stained glass restorer Peter Campling, gilder Sue Lee and model maker Isabella Gilding each of whom gave lively talks. The audience was invited to come up and see demonstrations on stage and have a go at the crafts themselves – taking home with them gilded balls and coats of arms as well as a gift bag. Our huge thanks to Firmdale Hotels for hosting us in Soho and to all who came to take part.

See below for the highlights!

We were delighted to bring our Patron HRH The Duke of Gloucester to Wanstead Grotto to see works in progress. The Duke met the City of London’s Epping Forest Chairman Graeme Doshi-Smith, Verderer Nicholas Munday, John Sharpe and Richard Arnopp from Friends of Wanstead Parklands as well as young refugees as part of our Proud Places programme. The Duke is Ranger of Epping Forest as well as HOLT’s Patron.
